Dear Petra, it's difficult to describe in words what the encounter with you facilitated inside of me. If I could, (Petra emailed me a picture infront of the Hollywood Sign) I would stand under the Hollywood Sign myself, arms wide open and release a big, loud scream of joy and happiness!

 

The short, but very intense work with you was life-changing and literally a complete enlightenment. You showed me with your method, your open, clear and penetrating way, and your warm and generous heart and love for actors - that the path we are aspiring is "simple" and "clear", if we are ready - like children do it every day! to open up to our inner symbols, images and feelings again. We have to trust that our most inner heart wishes and imaginations are enough of an inspiration and that they are the source of power to realize our highest visions. Isn't that what this is all about. In our intensive conversations I understood how much I have been hiding behind my own "source". We actors long so much to use our energies to reach all people, our audience - be it on stage or on the big screen - and to touch and move them. It is always about my own authenticity - and you are such in inspiration in living that path with your enriching work - be it in stories or in my life. This I could quickly find for myself again in our unbelievably motivating and powerful work. Yep! 

 

And I can only recommend you as a coach and mentor from the bottom of my heart to anybody who sincerely wishes to "move" something essential in their career, who wishes to change and speed up their professional path! It is amazing that there are people like you who have the courage to use feelings and visions as an authentic guide. You hand us actors a magic key for our own creative endaveours this way. The most important thing for me is the constant encouragement, Petra is giving me to find my own way in being an actress and getting into the market. This is a very freeing process for me and I got much clearer now, what it is I really want and how I can go about it.

 

I love the combination between very practical things like, find out more about the directors you like, and the spiritual dimension, where I can invite Meryl Streep on an imaginary level, my favorite actress, to give me some tips. This is great, because it shows, there are so many levels I can work on to reach my goal.

 

For me the coaching is also so important because at times, when I doubt, at least Petra believes in me and this is already a start. The longer I do the coaching, I also see how important it is to work with inner blockages, which often keep me from getting what I want. I am very grateful for getting the tools to work with them. So for me the coaching is an ongoing process in fulfilling my own potential. In the end it always depends on myself how much I put into action! So the bad news is, you still have to do it yourself!!!!! And take the responsability!

In August 2008 I decided to stop working for theatre because my dream always was and is to work infront of the camera. This was a very courageous decision for me, not knowing what would happen.

Then I did the first empowerment workshop in Munich in October 2008. I was so happy to meet all these gorgeous people who shared the same dreams. Petra, Marcus and the group gave me so much power and support. I felt the energy in me to make it! In the following weeks I went on with the coaching lessons with Petra and Marcus via skype over the Atlantic Ocean. It was so important because after the workshop you are so filled up with new ideas and power, but then when you are back home, the old fears and doubts say hello again and pull you down.

Especially the work on the archetypes with Petra helped me to get more clear about the specifics of my power as an actress and of course about me.

 

In summer 2009 we had the emowerment level 2. I worked with Petra again and with the great Cecilia de Rico. Again amazing 4 days helped me to add even more of my joy and trust in me and my work. And then, guess what?

This summer 2009, I shot for the German TV series TATORT, I did a wonderful short movie (sponsored by the bavarian filmfund) and I got a supporting role in a German feature movie (12 days shooting). Next year you can watch me on the big screen at the movies! I am so happy about it!

 

And in empowerment 1 I met the wonderful Carolina Rath, actress, writer and director. We both are now working on our first feature movie which we will shoot next year. 4 month ago I did not know that I would produce my own movie!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

To say it bluntly : The work with Petra has changed my life. It is hard put it in words, because it's so much about her amazing spirit which is non-verbal, but what I can say is that the encounter with her gave me so much power and always made all my fears disappear I had concerning the next steps I wanted to take in my life and work.

I have met my great-grandmother when I was 16. I returned 'home' for the first time. She was 90 years old and still performing on stage. She was an actress. I remember she was doing voice exercises everyday. "Acting means learning until the day you die..." She passed on with 93, peacefully. This curiosity to learn, experiment, observe and to find out "who I am", she passed on to me. 

 

I met a few mentors on my path. But the one that influenced me the most, was and is Petra Gallasch. She is a motivating, heartfilled and radiant mentor. She helps me not only to find my own shining 'bright' star/power, but also to renew, empower and use it. If I know my own unique power I can walk this path of being an artist with great authority and authenticity.

 

I need to receive input as an artist. Petra Gallasch manages with her fragile, compassionate, but very powerful way to re-awaken the essence of each one of us. It's great fun, but also sometimes exhausting. Everybody that works with her is in for a treat and will grow and expand! I received an intuitive reading by Petra Gallasch. I think the most powerful experience with this intuitive reading was sitting with Petra listening to her channelling and at the same time the presence of the message coming through. It was as if the words and the sounds of the words also were a channel of information. Actually a healing moment.

Sitting with her experiencing the message allowed what came through to open inside of me.The message that was brought to me included that I opened up inside of me to receive the message.
